1957 Porsche Carrera Speedster Chassis #82879

This ivory GS Carrera Speedster was first
registered on Oct 8, 1957 in San Diego, California by B.J. Olsen. It was
driven for 3 years before the motor had to be rebuilt. That owner stored
the car for 11 years. In 1971 the car was purchased by Don Vincent of
Goleta, California. He stored it for another 15 years. The restoration
of the 4 cam motor began in 1982 and was done by Bill Doyle. The car was
purchased in 1998 at the Christie's auction at Monterey Historics.
